Projector Usage

Use the white Epson projector remote to:

• Turn on/off the projector
• Change source inputs if you connect your laptop
• Volume control

Note: Please turn off the projector when you are done with class otherwise the projected image will dim quickly over time due to usage

Troubleshooting this classroom technology

Projector issue

Projected image is not displayed or projected image is just black or blue

1. Make sure you are signed on to the computer
2. Press the Windows and P key on the keyboard simultaneously and select Duplicate
3. If this doesn’t fix the issue, check the cable labelled INPUT 1 is plugged into the back of the computer

Computer issue

Computer is not turned On

1. Press the power button, does a light come on or display light up?
2. If there is no light or display, check the power strip is turned On and plugged into a wall outlet
3. Try plugging the computer power cable into another outlet on the strip
4. Check power cable is plugged tightly into the back of the computer
5. If the power button is lit up but all displays are dark, try holding it down for thirty seconds and then press it again for 2 seconds. This should force the computer to restart.

Audio issue

No audio from computer or too loud or not loud enough

1. Use projector remote volume up or down buttons
2. Make sure computer audio isn't muted (speaker icon located in lower right corner of the computer display)
3. If showing and online video, adjust audio through the video audio control in the browser
4. Still no audio:
   1. Right-click on the speaker icon in lower right corner of the screen
   2. Select Sound Settings
   3. Change the Output to another output source such as Espon
