The automatic forwarding of emails from a Bellarmine email account to a non-Bellarmine email account is no longer permitted.
Microsoft has been taking steps to enhance information security and disabling external forwarding is the latest step toward that goal. A common technique for attackers is to forward emails for a compromised account to their email address as to avoid detection.
Automatic forwarding of email to another Bellarmine account (something@bellarmine.edu) is permitted, as is the manual forwarding of an email to a non-Bellarmine account.
