Registered students are given a printing allowance of $25.00 per semester.
This allowance is set to $25.00 at the beginning of each semester; balances do not carry forward. Students do not have the option to pre-pay for printing services as our process allows for students to be billed for precisely what they use.
In the event a student exceeds their printing allowance they will not be restricted from access to printing services; however, overages will be accrued and billed to the student.
Once charges are billed to the student's account, their printing balance will be reset to $0. Even though the student has a $0 balance they may continue to access printing services, but will again accrue a negative balance. Once the balance threshold is met (this is currently set to $3) the student will be billed for the print charges and the balance will be reset to $0. This process will repeat as many times as necessary throughout the semester.
Printing Charge Schedule
As of August 2019, the following charges for printing are:
- Black & White: $0.06 for a single page
- Black & White: $0.10 for a two-sided page
- Color: $0.50 per side
