Microsoft Outlook has a Junk Email folder that will contain messages you have received that have been classified as junk by the Junk Email Filter. Based on how it analyzes the messages it is possible that it may have classified a message you want in your inbox as junk. When this happens, you can either move a message over if it is a one-time message, or you can add the sender to the safe sender list.
To view your Junk mail folder, In the Mail folder pane, click the Junk Email folder.
Please review the following Microsoft support articles based on how you access your email for current methods on how to view and move messages out of the Junk folder.
- Outlook.com (applies to the web-based version of your Bellarmine email) - Mail goes to the Junk folder by mistake (microsoft.com)
- Outlook Desktop app - Review email messages identified as junk (microsoft.com)
