FAQ

Why use a unique password for each resident?

Wi-Fi passwords are supported by most Internet-connected devices you bring.

Will my phone/computer see my smart devices?

Yes. Devices connected using your password can see each other, allowing you to control smart devices, cast/share from your phone, and more.

Will my roommate's phone/computer be able to see my devices?

No. Your roommate will connect to Reshall Secure using their own password. Their devices will not be able to see or interact with your devices.

What happens if I forget my password?

Connect to Reshall Open or visit http://aka.bellarmine.edu/reshallwifi and follow the wizard to retrieve your Wi-Fi password.

Can I change my password?

Yes. Connect to Reshall Open or visit http://aka.bellarmine.edu/reshallwifi and follow the wizard to retrieve your Wi-Fi password. There is a button to reset your password. We do not allow residents to enter their own password.

Will my password expire?

Your unique password will remain active as long as you're a resident at Bellarmine University. If you move out and are not registered to live on campus in a future semester, your password will be disabled.

What about guests?

Guests should connect to Reshall Open or Bellarmine Open and follow the steps for access. They will fill out a form with their name and email address. Once completed, they can access the Internet for 8 hours. After 8 hours, the guest must go through the setup process again. Nothing is downloaded to the guest's device. Do not share your wireless password with friends, family, roommates, or guests.

Will my password work for accessing the Bellarmine Secure or Bellarmine Classroom wireless networks?

No. You must visit https://aka.bellarmine.edu/wifi on each device you want connected to these networks. More information is available at Campus Wireless (Wi-Fi) Networks and Access Information.
