The following steps will show you how to add the document Library for your Team as a mapped location within Windows.  These steps assume you are on a Bellarmine-provided Windows computer that already has OneDrive installed.  If you are on a different computer, you will need to install OneDrive first.


  1. Be sure to reference the article on how to access files stored in a Team. It is important that you begin the steps below from the top of the document library and not a list of documents for a single channel. You'll be starting from a view like this:

    If you see a header that looks more like this

    You will need to click Documents
  2. From the menu for the page, click on Sync (shown below in yellow)
  3. You will be presented with the following on-screen message:
  4. Depending on the web browser you are using, you will be presented with pop-up window similar to this:
  5. Click Open link. Microsoft OneDrive will briefly open on the screen as it configures this as a mapped location.


From here, if you open Windows File Explorer, there will be a new section titled Bellarmine University. Any document libraries mapped in this manner will appear in this category.
