The following steps will show you how to add the document Library for your Team as a mapped location within Windows. These steps assume you are on a Bellarmine-provided Windows computer that already has OneDrive installed. If you are on a different computer, you will need to install OneDrive first.
- Be sure to reference the article on how to access files stored in a Team. It is important that you begin the steps below from the top of the document library and not a list of documents for a single channel. You'll be starting from a view like this:
If you see a header that looks more like this
You will need to click Documents - From the menu for the page, click on Sync (shown below in yellow)
- You will be presented with the following on-screen message:
- Depending on the web browser you are using, you will be presented with pop-up window similar to this:
- Click Open link. Microsoft OneDrive will briefly open on the screen as it configures this as a mapped location.
From here, if you open Windows File Explorer, there will be a new section titled Bellarmine University. Any document libraries mapped in this manner will appear in this category.
